Kilkivan Homestead is a boutique accommodation experience in Kilkivan, just 2.5 hours from Brisbane and 1.5 hours from the Sunshine Coast. Set in a stunning 115-year-old heritage home, guests can unwind in a comfortable setting and soak up the serenity of the natural world that opens up just beyond the expansive verandah. We have created an accommodation experience where our guests can step away from their busy schedules and immerse themselves in the slow pace of country living. Kilkivan Homestead is a place where lovers of architecture and nature will feel right at home.
If you're keen to stretch your legs, why not walk or ride a section of the Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail, or enjoy a walk through Mudlo National Park. We can also put you in touch with a local horse riding school. While you're in the area, we recommend booking a wine tasting or lunch at one of the South Burnett wineries. You can also visit local pubs, cafes, bakeries, antique stores and markets. We'll happily provide suggestions.
