Property info

The custodians of this Auburn property renovated the bungalow as part of a broader transformation of the 1920s site, bringing the same attention to detail they applied to the main cottage. Terrazzo floors, plantation shutters, granite benchtops and a red brick feature wall give the bungalow real character without sacrificing practicality. Blocks Road is proud to offer it as a private, self-contained retreat for guests exploring the Clare Valley.

Neighborhood info

Auburn is one of the Clare Valley's most charming towns. A proper country town with an IGA, cafes, a pub, a petrol station and that unhurried pace that makes the region so easy to settle into. Taylors Winery is just down the road, and boutique cellar doors are within minutes in every direction. The Riesling Trail, one of Australia's great cycling and walking trails, is easily accessible from town, winding through vineyards and past cellar doors all the way to Clare. The wider Clare Valley puts you within reach of some of South Australia's best wine, food and countryside. Adelaide is 1 hour 20 minutes away when you're ready to head back.
