“You would not expect this on a caravan site ... but what a great, positive surprise. Really loved it (although we couldn't test the outside bath tub) and thee short distance to the K'gari ferry is also nice.”

Mango Lodge a fully self contained solid timber slab cabin on 75 acres, 3 minutes to Fraser Island ferry. You are self sufficient with your own kitchen, bbq. Double roll-in shower, deep claw foot open air bath on back porch overlooking 100 year old Mango Tree. Relax & unwind while taking in the magnificent sunsets. Kangaroos abound. A genuine genoa lounge suite to relax in & a fully restored 150 year old wood stove (decorative) add to the authenticity. Disabled friendly - not pet friendly

Fraser Coast RV Park at River Heads is the launching spot for the ferry to Fraser Island (K'gari) and Kingfisher Resort. Fraser Island is world heritage listed and is the largest sand island in the world. Be sure to visit Lake McKenzie, a huge fresh water inland lake with a white sandy bottom and crystal clear water. Full day tours can be booked on arrival. Fraser Island has many tours available. Jump on the Fraser Island 4WD Tour bus which stops at the property at 8am, every day. Lots of tours available which can be booked upon arrival, or beforehand. Recommend prior booking so you don't miss out. Whale watching at Hervey Bay, or fly to Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef, sunset cruise with seafood dinner.
