Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. Guests enjoy free Wifi, BBQ facilities, laundry facilities and car parking with views to the River Derwent or Mount Wellington. Old Bishop's Quarters is within a 10min walk to Sandy Bay and Battery Point. The Royal Yacht Club, Salamanca and University of Tasmania are all less than 15 minutes walk. It is a 5 minute drive from Hobart CBD. Each apartment has independent access. Smart TVs and streaming facilities along with Bluetooth speakers in each apartment. Most of our guests enjoy eating out, our kitchenette provide fridge, kettle & toaster with coffee making facilities. Our larger apartments have dishwasher and microwave. BBQ is available. All bathrooms have underfloor heating. Each apartment has independent access. Smart TVs and streaming facilities along with Bluetooth speakers in each apartment. Most of our guests enjoy eating out, our kitchenette provide fridge, kettle & toaster with coffee making facilities. Our larger apartments have dishwasher and microwave. BBQ is available. All bathrooms have underfloor heating. Please note, some of apartments have 2-3 steps to access the entrance and one apartment is on the first floor via one flight of stairs. The School House is accessible.

Rebecca is a health professional who has enjoyed living abroad for a number of years. She has a passion for gardening and tries her hand at sewing, furniture restoration and more. Dermot, born in Ireland has now found his home in Tasmania after working in busy London for many years. If he is not reading or cycling he can be found out on the water.

Property info

The apartment is located within the grounds of a heritage listed house dating back to 1837. While it is a private residence we welcome guests to our apartments, sharing its history and proximity to the city. Meandering about the garden can be arranged with the owners during your stay.

Neighborhood info

It is located a gentle stroll of 10min to Salamanca/Battery Point and conveniently close to Sandy Bay Village. The street is grandly tree lined with English Plane trees making it feel more like an Avenue in Summer.
