Escapee from the corporate life, living the dream running my two B&B's, meeting wonderful folk from around the globe. Often not fortunate enough to meet them in person (I like to give my guests ownership of the space while in residence) at least corresponding via email / phone so I feel I've helped make their holiday or short break a great experience. Life's pleasures for me are family & friends, food, wine, books, cooking, live theatre, markets, bike riding & lap swimming with my teenage son, and time out walking with my partner. Located on Spring Gully Road at the southern tip of the township of Clare, Piambong House is set on 5 private acres, so from the moment you pass through the gates to the long drive all you can see is yours to roam and enjoy. Or head out to explore, just 600 metres from the gate is the Riesling Trail, Shut the Gate wines and the Clare Valley Food, Wine and Tourism Center. Parking is available at the house, off street, for one to four cars.
