“Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Clean, very comfortable, and the host is very nice. Room appears as advertised. I will note that the ceilings are a bit low - I am 185cm and had no problems, but someone 191cm or above might need to duck through...”

Property info

A private ensuite bedroom with double bed, gorgeous bathroom, quality air-conditioning and keyed door lock. Use of kitchenette, TV and dining area and laundry. Private entrance with great security. Amazing central city location, walking distance to The Strand and City. This bedroom is downstairs and the retired owners live upstairs. This is a non-smoking property, quiet hours are 10pm and 7am and to ensure the safety and security of residents and guests, no visitors are allowed on-site. The kitchenette is equipped with appliances for storing, toasting, heating and re-heating prepared food only. Kitchenette hours and 7am to 9pm. The laundry has a washer & dryer and clothes line and washing powder is included, The kitchenette and lounge area is shared with a maximum of 2 other people.

Neighborhood info

North Ward is very close to The Strand beach and the city. Queens Gardens is right across the road. Amazing views of Castle Hill. Easily walk to The Strand, City, Casino, Magnetic Island Ferry. Close to the new stadium and airport. Supermarket, shops and restaurants just a 5 minute walk. Beach just a 10 minute walk.
