The Little House on the Water adjoins Quart Pot Creek, it has its own private deck for park side, wining, dining and relaxing! You can’t get any closer to the park, the beautiful Quart Pot Creek or to town than this! This is the best location in town,
Sleeping six in 3 bedrooms (2 queen & 2 singles) there is room for the whole family, a friends getaways, a girls weekend or a romantic escape to the cold country. Just a 2 minutes walk to town across the water through the park where you will find many restaurants, wine bars, 4 pubs, 3 supermarkets, and dozens of speciality stores. Two of the area’s top restaurants Anna’s & Essen are literally steps away.
The property adjoins Quart Pot Creek & its stunning parklands which offer 7 kilometres of waterside walking/cycling tracks, perfect for an early morning or afternoon stroll. The trail features a mix of paved paths, & boardwalks wandering through water worn granite boulders and natural bushland. You will find picnic areas, play parks and BBQs along the way. Take some bread to feed the ducks, watch native birds, paddle at the water’s edge, swim in a rockpool or just relax under a shady tree.
Welcome to THE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE WATER a cosy beautifully appointed 3 bed home in the heart of Stanthorpe, Queensland’s “coolest town” and voted Queensland’s top destination for 2024.
We won't bother you on your stay. You can self check in/out but we are nearby and can lend a hand if you have any problems. Depending on the size of your group we might close off bedrooms. Please be exact about the numbers in your group. You are welcome contact us before you book.
The House is centrally located, just a short drive from so many things to see and do including dozens of wineries, cheese makers, breweries, Suttons Farm (café, apple pies, and cider), the Christmas Tree Farm, Kent Saddlery, Stanthorpe Maze and Mini Golf, Washpool Supply co. (body products/gifts), Heavenly Chocolates, the beautiful Girraween and Bald Rock national parks and so much more.
