The Tasman Peninsula is an amazing place to visit - Come and stay at Ruby's Cottage and see for yourself. We are situated in Port Arthur We are a Hobby farm on 25 acres surrounded by pure beauty, It's the perfect place to get away and enjoy the Country, breathe in the fresh air and watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets , Enjoy a tour around our property with Rod getting to see our beautiful view which over looks isle of the dead and Point puer and get to meet our Cows (Highland cows - Angus , Charlotte and Gorgina). (Dexter Cows, Angus Cows and our (Murray Grey Lucille). Beaches are close by. Remarkable Caves is only a short drive away (5-10 minutes) Cresent Bay (14 minutes away). Check out some of the amazing walks the Tasman Penisula has to offer such as Cape Hauy 4hr return - Cape Raoul 5hrs return - Waterfall Bay 1-1.5hrs return - Bivouc Bay 4hr return - Canoe Bay 2hr return. We are located 5 minutes from the Port Arthur Historical Site Remarkable Caves 7km The Unzoo 12km Tasman Island Cruise 3km Tasman Golf course 5km Cole mines Historic Site 28km Closest supermarket is Seabreeze IGA open 7 days a week 10 minutes drive from Ruby's Cottage opening hrs 8am - 6pm Or you can stop in to Sorell on your way down and do your food shopping at either Coles or Woolworths. Port Arthur takeaway general store is 5 minutes away they offer fast food options for breakfast,lunch and dinner. You can also get fuel from the general store. Lavender Farm is 10 minutes drive from Ruby's Cottage they offer Breakfast and lunch open from 10am - 4pm 7 days a week. No laundry onsite - Laundromat in Port Arthur, Located 5 minutes away open 7 days a week 9am - 5pm.
