Located on the beachfront at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Magnetic Island, Sunsets Resort offers rooms with ocean views from your balcony. Horseshoe Bay has 3 kilometers of beach is the water sports & restaurant hub of Magnetic Island. The area is safe for swimming with a swimming enclosure and life guard in attendance 7 days a week. Great family environment with playgrounds & BBQ's for public use on the beachfront. If you like walking there are great walking tracks through the National Park & sighting native animals & birds such as Koalas in the wild on the Forts walk. Magnetic Island hosts an annual Yacht race in September, Mountain Bike races and Endurance challenges.
