Briar Rose Cottages consists of three gorgeous cottages which sleep twelve guests in total. Silky Oak Cottage is our one-bedroom cottage with its unique spiral staircase and romantic loft bedroom with queen bed and balcony. Mulberry Cottage is our two-bedroom cottage which sleeps four guests and our newest cottage, Cedar Cottage is our three bedroom cottage which sleeps six guests. The cottages are perfect for a romantic weekend, family or group getaway and the centrally located fire pit is the perfect spot on a chilly autumn or winter evening! All cottages are fully self-contained and offer a full kitchen, all cooking equipment, wood fires, air conditioning, luxury linen, toiletries, hairdryers, electric blankets and outdoor seating areas amidst the private gardens. Our local tour operators will collect you for your pre-booked tours right out the front of the cottages. If you're feeling like a bike ride in the fresh country air then Granite Belt Bicycle Tours and Hire will drop off your bikes right to your door! The cottages are located 1km from the Stanthorpe town centre so you can stroll to the local cafes and shops for a coffee, brekky or lunch or a browse through the shops.
I have lived in Stanthorpe all my life and I love living here. While I am reasonably new to hosting I am really enjoying reaching out to my guests and making their stay memorable. I love promoting the beautiful Granite Belt region and sharing it's treasures with visitors. While the cottages keep me busy I also love to read, garden and spend time with my family.
The Granite Belt region is a fabulous place to visit. With wineries and breweries to visit, local produce to pick and sample, bike riding trails and natural parklands to explore as well as award winning restaurants there really is is something for everyone! The locals are friendly and welcoming and there is so much to see and do! Each season is so unique on the Granite Belt and offers guests something different to enjoy. You can do as much or as little as you wish during your stay in Stanthorpe and you are limited only by the length of your stay and your imagination.
