Located on the Sandy Bay hillside you will enjoy sweeping views of the harbour from a secluded studio apartment. We are walking distance to Wrest Point Casino, and 10 minutes’ drive to the city and Salamanca Place. Shops and cafes are close by in Sandy Bay or enjoy walking the beaches and eating at Lower Sandy Bay. We provide off street parking and a bus stop is a minute away. (Note: We have a steep driveway and your entrance requires you to walk up some stairs). Studioat10 provides an entire top floor of luxury for you comprising a large bedroom (queen), modern en-suite and a large lounge with comfortable sofas, TV, video, movies, books and games and free Wi Fi. A kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster and refrigerator allows food preparation, we provide complimentary tea, coffee and milk on arrival. Dine inside or on your private balcony and enjoy water views while you eat. A complementary laundry (with dryer and iron) is available. We have enjoyed travelling ourselves and have come to enjoy different types of accommodation. Sometimes it is nice to get out of hotels and motels and enjoy the surrounds of your own space where you don’t have crowds, can dress as you like, can look after your own agenda and relax in comfort. We have made our studio apartment very comfortable with quality fittings and decor as well as entertainment options. The bedroom and lounge are large but cosy, heating and cooling is provided, there is not a full kitchen (who wants to cook on holidays) but the kitchenette is well equipped to prepare light meals. We like privacy and have made this top floor area exclusively yours for your stay. We may not see you once you arrive but are happy for you to knock on our door for a chat about things to do and see.

Sandy Bay is a residential environment that extends along the banks of the river/harbour and up the hillside to Mount Nelson. It has bushland and many tracks for walking and mountain biking, in and around a quality established suburb. While hilly, you can walk safely around the streets and in an hour reach most areas. It is home to the University of Tasmania main campus, has the Royal Hobart and Derwent Yacht Clubs adjacent to Wrest Point Casino, and shopping centres in Sandy Bay and Lower Sandy Bay. Many restaurants provide a range of culinary experiences from coffee shops to cafes to fine dining, a number provide water views or outdoor areas to relax. Starting in the Sandy Bay shopping area you can walk or drive along Sandy Bay road to Lower Sandy Bay, passing Wrest Point, Manning Reef cafe (great fish and chips), Lipscome Larder (grocery and fresh food supplies) and enjoy water views as you go.
