Summerhill is a 3 storey oasis nestled on a cliff delivering spectacular views of Hobart in one direction and unspoilt bush to the other. Our place personifies the best of both worlds as you are centrally located but also have the tranquility of native bushland on your doorstep. This is an amazing house for families and large groups. The kitchen has been designed for entertaining and the interior is home to a growing collection of beautiful artworks and artefacts. We look forward to spoiling you!
Hi, I'm Georgia, I'm an interior architect and mother to 3 young kids. I love adventure and wilderness but equally as much, I love the comfort of a really beautiful, well designed interior space. I take great pride in hosting and like to go above and beyond to ensure you have a very special stay in our home. We are currently living a rather nomadic lifestyle between different states in Australia and Bali, Indonesia and hence our beautiful Hobart home is available to guests. If you are traveling with a baby or young children, our place is particularly perfect for you as we have all the baby paraphernalia you could possibly need! We also have an abundance of quality toys and children's books. Your kids will never want to leave! If we are not in town during your stay, we will have someone on the ground who will be able to assist you, should there be the need.
West Hobart is a very friendly, safe, upmarket area of Hobart. Our place is located at the top of one of West Hobart's steepest hills, giving us a vantage point like no other. The house butts onto Knocklofty Reserve giving it a very tranquil feel, yet as the crow flies we are just 1.6kms from the CBD. We are centrally located, however being perched at the top of a hill makes it a little challenging walking home without becoming a little breathless. Fortunately, we are only 5 minutes drive from the CBD. Ubers abound if you are feeling like a big night. Electric bikes are a great option too; available to hire in town.
