Relaxing Country Escape with Panoramic Views, Rolling Hills and Magical Sunsets located a short 10km from the township of Nanango and 200km from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Situated in the beautiful South Burnett region on a 400 acre cattle grazing property, The Block Vista B&B is the relaxing country escape you have been looking for. Go for a leisurely stroll, read a book, play board games, sip on a wine and unwind. Watch the magical sunsets, relax and savor the fresh country air. Lay down on a rug at night and marvel at the stars and the wonderment of the milky way. A continental or cooked breakfast is included and we offer a complimentary afternoon tea or evening glass of wine. Lunch and dinner options are available on prior request.
Doug & Chris have been married for nearly 40 years and have three grown up children and four wonderful grandchildren. Doug has an interest in the land and the cattle industry having grown up on a dairy farm on the Atherton Tablelands. He enjoys spotting the many different bird species we get around the property and taking in the views of the night sky while enjoying a glass of his favorite red wine or chatting with one of the neighbors over a home brew. Doug has an interest in books and reading and sees this as an enjoyable pastime. Chris grew up in Central Queensland and she and Doug had many enjoyable years living and working in Rockhampton before making the move to their current property. In her single and early married life Chris coached gymnastics for many years. Chris has recently had time to take up a combination of Yoga, Pilates and Ti Chi at one of the local gyms in Nanango after spending many months renovating the homestead.
