High on the hill, with views over the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the Derwent River, the Hill House Panorama is a large stand-alone studio with lockable access. When we have no guests, it is a working photographic studio and although modern, there is history to it. The photographs and art on the walls tell that story. The place oozes charm and comfort… The large fridge contains quality breakfast and grazing items - an assortment of goodies for you to choose from for your stay. Mostly locally sourced, whenever possible. There is a kettle, coffee machine, microwave/convection oven, cooktop, air fryer and all utensils. Plenty space for you to eat and to relax. A large TV on the wall can be adjusted for viewing from many angles. Enjoy the Cheminée Phillippe fireplace in the winter. Walk in the 4 acre garden, enjoy the plants and flowers - and, of course, the view! Talk to the resident Guinea Fowl - or Bob, the cat, who just loves the garden...
We are both passionate about gardening and food. We have travelled a lot to pursue those interests and enjoy our life immensely. Our garden and house give us great joy and we are blessed to live in such an idyllic situation, with views to die for, both over the garden and to the sea (the d'Entrecasteaux Channel).

We have our own Post Office - thank you Kelly! Great service and always a friendly greeting. Altogether a lovely community where the local shop/cafe is ably run by Kaan and Rosie, serving delicious food and great coffee. Come down and explore our part of the world...
