This unique place has a style all its own. "The Rectory" has been recently renovated and is located beside the old historic church built in 1907. This well equipped holiday accommodation has a modern, comfortable and welcoming vibe. It's central location makes it a great base to explore the West Coast of Tasmania as it's smack bang in the middle with short easy drives to Strahan, Macquarie Heads, Queenstown, Tullah, Rosebery, Trial Harbour, Granville Harbour, Corinna and Cradle Mountain.

3 years ago we fell in love with the West Coast of Tasmania and now call it home..... Not long after arriving I saw that the old church was for sale. It was a little neglected and I just felt strangely compelled to save this piece of history. I found out later that the church pew we acquired with the purchase of our own house in Zeehan was actually one of the church pews from this very church which I sat on every morning to drink my coffee!

This is a very quiet part of town. 5 mins walk to the centre of town including the museum (West Coast Heritage Centre), op shops, post office and coffee van. The local pub (great food) and IGA is a 10 minute walk.
