On any given day, you’ll find Julie in the office, managing administration and overseeing that guests have a memorable trip. Jason is the photographer and maintenance hero. Their operations manager, Emma, corresponds with guests and organizes the housekeeping teams.

Part of the deck is covered so you can enjoy the outdoors even during the bad weather. Located in the heart of Port Arthur, the Shack is within walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, and the historic Port Arthur Site. This is the perfect base to explore the historical site as your ticket allows 2 days of exploring – allow yourself slow mornings and long lazy dinners at The Shack as you spend the majority of the days exploring the riches of the site.
