Located centrally in the historic tin mining town of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands is Herberton Townhouse and Tin Town Suites. Guest accomodation is above the Herberton Hardware store and High Grounds Coffee shop. Our property was established in 1880 by the Bimrose family as the first pub in town. Access to accomodation is via door codes. Please contact Hosts for codes prior to arrival.
We hope you enjoy your stay and explore our beautiful town.
Welcome to Herberton, we purchased this iconic building approximately 3 years ago. Since then we have diversified our business with our hardware store/ coffee shop and now accomodation upstairs. We are passionate about creating a relaxing enjoyable space for guests to stay.
We enjoy motorbike riding and we have a local social riding group - Tin Town Tourers.
We also have our own aircraft and have enjoyed travelling when we are able to.

We have a range of attractions in Herberton. The Herberton Historical Village has a fantastic collection of antiques from yesteryear. A full day is required. A great day out for the whole family.
The Herberton Tin Mining Museum has an extensive range of historical information as well as a gift and book shop. Walking paths etc.
The Herberton Railway is a Volunteer ran organisation. The famous "Percy" the Peckett steam train runs and operates regularly. Herberton Main Street has several unique businesses to visit and browse through.
