Welcome to Uringah , (Bird of the Sea), with a family history going back to 1907 a magical place. Very private and quiet, bird noises only! It is set on beachfront, with a safe swimming environment and beautiful, golden sand. I’m sure it is only 100 steps and you are on the beach. A Comfortable, peaceful and centrally located base in which to explore Phillip Island. Only 15 minute walk to Cowes township. A king sized bed which opens to a mini kitchen with kettle and fridge and microwave. Shower and WC with door. TV, Wifi. Tea, coffee and milk provided. Bread for toast and butter, Vegemite.

Koalas, wallabies, echidnas, and penguins abound on Phillip Island, a great place to visit. I love travelling and immersing myself into the community of my stay. I am a bit of a nature/science/art buff and I love to quilt, knit and crochet! I also ride a motor bike if the weather is suitable! I enjoy the personal touch that can be provided when travelling. It certainly adds to the whole experience and gives a sense of being at home. I hope you can obtain a bit of the Uringah ambience during your stay, it's hard not to!

Sightseeing The Nobbies Sensational views with a wild ocean on a rough and windy day. Seal Rock colony and a terrific interactive Antarctic experience. Penguin Parade Really amazing experience to watch and be part of the Fairy Penguins daily routine to feed their young at dusk. Cape Woolamai State Faunal Reserve A fantastic walk that starts along the beach then take the stairs to walk the cliff tops and see the most wonderful granite needles and rock formations. Also Shearwater nesting ground. Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit They hold tours here and you may be able to catch motor bike races or V8 supercars! They also have days at the track to ride your push bike! Go-carts too on a mini race track. Food Scene Phillip Island Winery One of the best platters of cheese, trout and local food condiments I've ever had! Check opening times. Rhyll Fantastic fish and chips from here. Go fishing. The Waterboy Cafe The eggs are so perfectly cooked, always runny yolks and coffee and tea to make your morning. Phillip Island - Churchill Island A wonderful place to learn the early history of the Island. An animal farm is a delight to see and their is a cafe open for a coffee or a snack.
