Our wooden vacation home is located in Račić, a small place distanced only 13 km drive to center of town Bihać, 25 km to Štrbački buk, 45 km to Plitvička jezera (Croatia). It is built on the shore of the river Una with the porch only 10 meters from the river. Next to the house there is a small creek which pours directly into the river, creating relaxing sound which is perfect for sleeping in a hammock next to it. From the balcony you can enjoy morning sun with coffee or tea, looking at the surrounding hills and listening to the beautiful sounds of nature in the morning. In colder days, indoor fireplace will provide warmth and coziness. If you want to just relax and watch tv, we have Satelite tv with over 100 channels.
We are humble family who recently decided to share with you our little piece of paradise.
Surrounded by river and hills, this place is perfect for resting your body and soul. For those who like hiking, nature will be food for your eyes if you go upstream on the 2.5 km walk to the Dvoslap (two waterfalls), and for those who like to award their stomach after a hike, there is also 2.5 km walk downstream to the Restaurant Slap. If you like fresh breeze from the water, canoeing will be your memorable experience (note: 2 adult and 2 children life safety jackets (personal flotation devices) included for obligatory use). Adventurous or not, there is always good old barbecuing on the property, where fathers can pass on family grilling traditions to their children.
