Our spacious and fully renovated apartment is located on a small hill in a quiet neighborhood, just 5 minutes from the city center and its most beautiful landmarks. We recommend arriving by car for easier access. Free private and secure parking is located right next to the entrance. It has air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen. We also have a baby-cot available free of charge. You'll enjoy garden and mountain views, and right next door, a small mosque adds to the charm and local atmosphere.
Your host is a professor of philosophy who spent most of his life as an entrepreneur, and later discovered a deep passion for organic food gardening. Just a 5-minute walk from the apartment, he grows fresh fruits and vegetables and keeps free-range chickens for organic eggs – all with the same passion he brings to hosting.
Our apartment is set in an old mahala, once the retreat of the city’s wealthiest families during the Ottoman Empire. The original house on this site, built in 1804, was part of that heritage and once owned by the renowned Fevz Efendi, who taught at Travnik’s famous madrasa in the early 19th century. Although the old house was demolished, a new home was built here in the 1970s, preserving the spirit of the neighborhood, which still carries the quiet charm and authenticity of those times.
