Welcome to our Vikendica na Plivi E&M – a cozy wooden chalet right on the crystal-clear Pliva river, just minutes from Šipovo. If you're looking for genuine peace, untouched nature, and the sound of the river right outside your door, you've found the right place. The house sits directly on the riverbank and accommodates up to 5 guests. From the covered hladara (river terrace) right above the water, you'll look out over the turquoise-green river and forested hills – the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. A small private boat (čamac) is available for exploring the Pliva at your own pace (experienced users only), and fishing gear can be provided on request. The region around Šipovo and the Pliva is a paradise for nature lovers. Just minutes away, the crystal-clear Pliva springs (Izvori Plive) emerge directly from the rock – an absolute must-see for a relaxed walk and unforgettable photos. The Pliva is world-famous for fly fishing, and the surrounding forests are wonderful for hiking and cycling. The historic town of Jajce, with its famous waterfall right in the town center and medieval fortress, is only about 25 minutes away and well worth a day trip. For fresh trout and traditional Bosnian cuisine, we recommend the local konobas right by the water – be sure to try freshly baked pita (burek) cooked under the sač, or traditional ćevapi in flatbread. For a culinary stop in Jajce, we recommend Restoran Omerbegova kuća, housed in a historic 17th-century Ottoman-era home right in the medieval old town. Take some time for a traditional Bosnian coffee too, served in a copper džezva with rahat lokum – the best way to enjoy the afternoon.
