This is not a typical resort — it’s a place designed to slow down time and reconnect with simple pleasures. Guests can stay in wooden cottages, tree houses, or tents under the open sky. Mornings are greeted by birdsong, and evenings are best spent by the canal, enjoying quiet moments or a slow boat ride. Meals are prepared on a traditional clay stove using organic, locally grown ingredients. Red tea is always available, warm and unlimited. Here, nature is the main character. Seasonal changes bring unique experiences — monsoon reflections, crisp winter air, and calm summer evenings. Hijoltola is built for peace, simplicity, and genuine relaxation, allowing each guest to experience the warmth and rhythm of village life without leaving comfort behind.
