Hotel Castanea is set in the historic Stas de Richelle castle in Merelbeke, just 6 km from Ghent, and offers a peaceful stay surrounded by a private 2.5‑hectare park. The property features three exceptional suites (50–70 m²) and two well‑equipped studios with kitchenettes, each decorated in its own style. All rooms include a king size bed, a flatscreen TV, free Wi‑Fi, a coffee and tea set, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, towels, a hairdryer, free parking and toiletries. Guests can enjoy the honesty bar located in the cosy ground‑floor living room. The terrace and garden can be used for a wonderful walk or picnic or the greenhouse lounge for a relaxing time. A visit to the city of Ghent is easily accessible through Uber (and cheap). Whether you visit for work or leisure, Castanea combines comfort, privacy, and the charm of a historic estate.
