This is not a hotel. This is not a B&B. This is L’Eauberge. L’Eauberge is a warm, lived‑in home where guests immediately feel welcome. It’s a real house with people, stories, and a naturally relaxed atmosphere. Guests stay in comfortable rooms with their own bathroom, and share a cosy ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen, a bright living room, and a garden along the small river. What makes the place unique is the human touch: guests are greeted personally, the house feels open and easy to use, and everyone can choose their own rhythm — quiet rest, friendly conversation, or creative moments in the workshop space. The décor is simple and authentic, and the whole house has a warm, homelike feeling that helps guests settle in right away. Fritz, our Great Dane, is part of the family. He will welcome you enthusiastically. He loves all humans, but not all other dogs, so we unfortunately cannot allow guests to bring their own pets. The name “L’Eauberge” combines eau (water) — referring to the stream (the Bronze) that flows through the garden — with auberge, evoking a place of simplicity, life, and connection. It’s a place where you can come exactly as you are: to breathe, rest, meet others, and enjoy a spirit of kindness and hospitality. We create together, we savour together. L’Eauberge is a place where you can share your knowledge, your talents, and your time with others — and learn from one another.

We’re Wim and Towa, we live in L’Eauberge. We enjoy welcoming guests in a simple, human way: a warm hello, a relaxed atmosphere, and the feeling that you can just be yourself here. We love creating a place where people meet, share, and slow down. Hosting is not a job for us — it’s something we genuinely enjoy. We like good conversations, shared meals, creative moments in the workshop space, and the quiet rhythm of the river flowing through the garden. Fritz, our Great Dane, is part of the family and will greet you with great enthusiasm. He loves people, and his presence adds to the homelike feeling of the house. What we enjoy most about hosting is seeing guests arrive as visitors and leave feeling a little more rested, inspired, or connected. From L’Eauberge, you can walk to the historic centre in just a few minutes.
