A breath of fresh air in the countryside A house of character from the 18th century and typical of the region, in white painted bricks and having a large garden spread over 17ares, 2 sunny terraces, a private courtyard, and a private car park that can accommodate up to 4 cars. The interior of the house is entirely decorated with light colors, and furniture renovated by us or made by artisans from the region. The promise of a warm atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Gertrude is the countryside, a breath of fresh air and a homecoming, in the heart of Belgium. It is the ideal place of relaxation for couples and families with children up to 9 people. Multiples services are proposed to guest like: A local artisan baker delivers you pastries, pastries, squeezed orange juice, breads, baguettes, or even quiches every morning or a mini-market inside the cottage proposing local bier, chips, jam, honey, wines, ...
We discovered that area at the countryside (40' at the south of Brussel) 15years ago and we felt in love with that part of Belgium. We are a family with 4 children and we love to share our passion for this area with our hosts. We want our hosts to take some times for backing to basics and taking some fresh airs. We will be there to help our hosts to plan their perfect trip depending of their expectations.
During your stay, we will be able to take some times for wonderful walks or bicycle tour, to discover local producers and artisans, to visit some famous cities from Belgium (Leuven, Liege, Namur, Brussel, ...), to eat some local produce products from the closed farms (bread, chicken, milk, cream, icecream, butter, bier, wines, ...)
