Graide Retreat is located in an old Graide village in the Southern Ardennes Natural Park. The Lodge occupies the ancient Bakehouse annex of a traditional Ardennes farm. It was fully renovated by the owner using the traditional and ecologial techniques. Everything inside is handmade: the beds, the furniture in the living, the kitchen and the bathroom. Even the century old looking wall of the terasse is made by us. We created a truly hideaway place to relax and to disconnect from the fast and stressful life. The place is heated with a wood-burning stove. It has a balcony and a terasse with a BBQ. You will be surrounded by the garden.
Hello, I am Diana, the owner and the creator of Graide Retreat Lodge. I renovated this place with a help of more than 30 volunteers from around the world. This was my hobby for the last three years :) I am an open person, a seasoned traveller and a twice mother. Speak English, French, Russian.
The Lodge is lost in the countryside yet you can profit plenty of touristic attractions of the region. Just next door, there is a prey bird farm and a beekeper and plenty of possible walks in the surrounding forests and villages. The Semois river with fishing, kayaking and swimming is within 15 minutes drive. Driving longer, you can get to Bouillon castle, Orval Abbey, the Han caves and safary park, European Space Centre and plenty more.
