With beautiful original features and authentic details this is a luxury journey to the 19th century with a balanced modern touch, an experience for one and all. Watch some 3D TV with dynamic surround sound in the oak beamed lounge area or relax in the reading area. The beautiful black marble and wooden floors gel perfectly with open brick walls and fantastic fire places. Enjoy a family experience together in cosy dining room, or, in the summer months, a lazy evening in the beautiful gardens enjoying a bbq with your loved ones. A wide variety of good restaurants and bars in the local area makes this a perfect location to enjoy your well deserved roomstay in Maison Sax. Choices enough for a diverse range of couples or families to become engulfed in an authentic ardennes experience.
Nadine and Tony. Ardenne enthusiasts, would love to share a real authentic Ardennes experience with you in Relax @ Maison Sax. Family renovated with heart and soul for you to enjoy. Although we do enjoy the hassel free modern way of living with central heating and time saving electrical appliances, we also still have a eye for the traditional and beautiful hand made way of life from days gone by. We have created a blend of old and new in this magnificent 19th century house with a mixture of original features and modern touches balanced together throughout the property. The most important thing for us is that you have, at the end of your vacation, a real positive feeling for the time you have spent with us. Not only the modern mixed with the past but also the energy that this property provides during your stay. A pleasant and relaxed experience during your stay is paramount for us. Enjoying Maison Sax and the wonderful surroundings as we do every day.
Some really nice restaurants and pubs, lovely towns like Durbuy or La Roche nearby, several caves to be discovered in the neighbourhood and a stones throw away from Wéris, known as the 'Stone-Henge' from mainland Europe. Golf and tenniscourts nearby. During the holidays also many festivals, concerts and all sorts of activities to be enjoyed in de wide area. Winter time = skiing time !
