The Four houses have thick stone walls, a yard with fruit-trees, a swimming pool, a summer bar and a view that entices the eyes to roam around the Balkan Mountain Region hills. The houses consist of a total of 6+1 double bedrooms with bathrooms and have the capacity to house up to 20 people, if the extendable sofas* in the living rooms are used. Each of the individually available houses has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, sanitary facilities, and a separate veranda. The layout and amenities in all rooms offer a perfect place to relax in the countryside and have fun with family friends or relatives. *no additional charges for children under 7 years old
Our family loves spending time outdoors and in the surroundings of the mountains. We enjoy skiing and outdoor activities all year long. For us Kostenkovtsi and the region offer the best possibility for a relaxed experience in a beautiful environment during all four seasons that we enjoy in Bulgaria. For us a home is like a dream come true. We will be glad to share our dream.
The village of Kostenkovtsi is part of the town of Lesicharka, along with the neighboring village Chomatsite (now Iglika). For this reason, on some maps these two villages are not individually marked. The slope Kostenkovtsi is located on south-facing towards the mountain. The altitude is 535 m. The hills are covered with hornbeam, keystone, oak, cherry, maple, ash, lime. The forests are dense, mixed with hawthorn, wild pears, blackberries and other plants. Kostenkovtsi has a rich history. In the vicinity of the village there are remnants of a Roman road, a Thracian fortress, monuments of members of Bulgaria's liberation movement. The new school dates back to 1925. Interesting is the history of the fountain built in the autumn of 1849 by Todor Ivan Tonchovetza and built up with troughs, in 1926. The water is fine to drink, enjoyed by both locals and guests.
