Casa Azul is a former fisherman's house transformed into a Pousada de Charme faithful to the original rustic building style in a cozy environment and original decoration details. Due to the unique location literally on the long and almost desert Arrombado Beach, our guests will experience the special feeling of falling asleep listening to the waves and waking up with an enormous beach to explore. The pousada offers many protected corners to enjoy the natural beauty of the place and especially the elevated lounge area, where breakfast is served, is popular for relax and checking out the action on the water. The beach is excellent for kitesurfers looking for a non-crowded beach spot. The waves are small and easy to handle at low to mid tide, while mid to high tide produces fun waves for experienced kitewave enthusiasts. House Rules - Suites are non-smoking. - Portable speakers are not allowed. - Our structure is not yet suitable to accommodate children under 15 years of age. - Although we love animals, we choose not to accept pets. - Our space is exclusively reserved for guests with a reservation. We don´t work with Day-Use. - Your car will be parked in a sheltered place close to the pousada (at no additional cost). - We have free opticals fibre Wi-Fi in all areas. Our electricity is 220V. - You can rent our Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) and Surfboard (funboard) for an hourly fee. - In our bar you can find all types of drinks and cocktails. At 21h30 we dim the lights and turn off the background music.

The Arrombado Beach is almost desert and at low tide perfect for bathing and enjoying the sun. Without any rocks it is the perfect place for a peaceful kitesurf session in clear green water. At high tide the scenario changes and the beach gets more wild with some of the best waves of this region, appreciated by surfers and kitewave riders. For non kitesurfers we suggest hikes along the almost desert beach, kayak, beach tennis, boat tour in the Parnaíba Delta, visit to the historical centre of Parnaíba or one of the neighbor beaches. Or just chillout in our garden, bar or lounge - very appreciated especially at sunset. The beach bars next to the Pousada offer local alternatives for lunch such as crabs, shrimps and fresh fish. Most nights we prepare a healthy home made dinner as option for our guests. We can also recommend excellent dinner restaurants less than a 10 minutes drive from the pousada.
