Hi there! My name is Janaine and I am responsible for all the reservation and financial management of our beautiful inn. The inn was started by my grandparents, who live in Recanto, and absolutely adore the beach. They began with a small ice cream business and later decided to start the inn for a select few customers. Over the years, the inn has grown and expanded. It's a family business, and Mrs. Val, a friendly and charming lady, is responsible for welcoming our guests at the reception. I love this place, and I see it as a source of creating opportunities for stays as well as direct and indirect employment.

Our inn is located on one of the most beautiful beaches of São Francisco do Sul Island. Our guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations that come with a grill on the balcony, well-equipped kitchen, parking space, beach chairs and a sun umbrella. However, we do charge an additional fee for bed and bath linen, which should be noted. At Recanto da Val, we offer complete and private apartments that come with two air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with an LED TV. Two of our accommodations provide an indescribable sea view, and our location is just across the street from the sea. Forte Marechal Luz, a fascinating place with lush nature and beautiful landscapes, as well as some of the island's history, is only 2 km away from our inn. Imagine sleeping to the sound of the sea, waking up to a marvelous sunrise in your window, or finishing the day with an incredible sunset and enjoying a clean beach with clear water. Itaguaçu Beach is located 13 km away from the historic center of São Francisco do Sul, between Forte Beach and Ubatuba Beach. The beach faces the open sea and is ideal for activities such as swimming, fishing, and surfing. It provides a stunning view of the Island Lighthouse and all the vessels passing through the Port of São Francisco do Sul. During the mullet fishing season in winter, the beach becomes the second home for families of local fishermen. It is fascinating to see tons of mullets being removed from the sea. Moreover, the beach is known for its monazite sand. Enseada Beach, which is less than 15 minutes away by car, offers a variety of restaurants, craft fairs, and beach activities. There you can enjoy attractions such as boat trips, banana boats, and sand courts.
