Lorato Camping is a campsite located in Muchenje in Chobe District, just 6km from Chobe National Park and Namibia Botswana border. The campsite feature grassed and shaded campspots that have electricity power points. The campsite is powered entirely by a solar power system. Internet is powered by Starlink for the benefit of clients. Water is from a borehole. The campsite provides a relaxing ambiance and serene ambiance, the most prominent sounds is from the birds. The campsite is safe and secure.
I love the outdoors and my intention is to share the love of camping with my clients. I like to treat my clients as personal visitors and do my best to make clients to feel welcomed and treated in a friendly manner. I try to interact with clients to find out their interests and itinerary to see how I can enrich their safari by recommending places. I provide guests with additional information and literature to find out more about their plans.
Muchenje is a rural community that practices agriculture, fishing and traditional way of life. The area is very rich in birdlife and is considered a birding hotspot by those in the know. Activities that could be done in the area include hiking the hills of Mabele, birdwatching, fishing, canoe or mokoro ride, visit to cultural village and sightseeing to places of interest.
