Above the Tickle is a beautiful, well maintained Salt Box style hospitality home. We are located in the center of town, at 84 Main St, Twillingate. Just above the tickle, (where it gets its name) that separates Twillingate's north and south islands. Built in 1901, this century old home has remained the classy property it was back then. The property has undergone some upgrades over recent years, which include new hardwood flooring throughout and a new fully functioning kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. We have a beautiful garden where kids can play. Or, if you prefer to just relax, you can sit on the deck and enjoy the wonderful views of the ocean, and enjoy the most magnificent sunsets.

My wife Gloria and I, were born and raised right here in Twillingate. We moved away after finishing high school, but longed to be back home. So we returned home and started our lives. Our families go back for generations as proud Twillingater's. We have 2 son's, Jordon and Joshua, and a fur baby Maggie. We all work here in our beautiful, friendly town. Gloria and I both work in customer service roles. we really enjoy this role, as it give's us the opportunity to have met many people along the way. Sometimes even creating lasting friendships. Gloria enjoy's gardening, beach combing for sea glass, time on sea-doo and family time. I also enjoy some of her activities too, but I also drag her along for my favorite activities of boating and fishing for cod. We would both love the opportunity to meet you and your family, when you decide to come and vacation with us!

Above the Tickle is only a few minutes walk ,or a very short drive from anything you would want to do in Twillingate. We are a couple of minutes away from J.M. Olds Collegiate, Twillingate Island Elementary school and the George Hawkins Arena. The Twillingate Dinner Theater and local fish market are just down the street from us. You will also find Pubs, Tickle Point Mercantile (NL Liquor store), Restaurants, Art studios, Grocery stores, Blue Barrel cafe, Rock Adventures Kayak tours, Museums, Boat Tours, Rockcut Twillingate trails as well as Grand Old Shed party show.
