Close to Algonquin Park, Limberlost Wilderness Reserve, Town of Huntsville and Villages of Dwight and Dorset! Property has a level 2 EV charger. It also has generator back up so that in the unlikely event Hydro goes out, you will still have power. Insulated cottage has a heat pump for heat and air conditioning as well as overhead fans in the bedrooms, a wood stove and electric baseboard heaters (not needed with heat pump on) This is not a property to party at. Laughter and fun welcome, but loud parties and outdoor music are not welcome here. Please respect our neighbours and the serene environment. The main electrical panel is behind picture in second bedroom. If lights stop working or an appliance not working it's likely a tripped breaker which you can reset.
We live and work in Muskoka so are happy to give you suggestions for hiking, paddling and exploring the area, including restaurant suggestions.
This cottage is perfectly situated 10 minutes from iconic Algonquin Park but is also near may other places worth exploring including the villages of Dwight and Dorset, Limberlost Wilderness Reserve, many local golf courses, snowmobile trials, Nordic Skiing (at Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin), downhill skiing at Hidden Valley and many good restaurants and shops in the town of Huntsville.
