People often ask me: Why did you decide to open a Bed and Breakfast in the middle of the forest? I bought a cottage in 1997, on an acre of land, surrounded by nature, access to a small lake. I started by transforming the DIY workshop to house forestry workers. In view of the growing demand from many tourists who wanted to visit the highest point of the Maritime Provinces, Mount Carleton, I had the buildings expanded a few years later. Being located only 22 km from the provincial park, I jumped at the opportunity to want to exchange with all this beautiful people. Who am I: I am a professional hairdresser, I have traveled a lot, I have worked in Central America, Asia and Australia, I speak fluently three languages. My mission: That people feel as if they are at home. I have many passions, including one in particular, that allows me to offer authentic beginner fly fishing initiation experiences. This is one of the reasons why quite often, during the summer period, we are absent from the Gîte. On the other hand, our manager in OR, takes care of the place as if it were hers.

The Gîte Du Repos is set back, far from the beaten paths, ideal for those who love tranquility and the great outdoors. We offer 6 units that are NOT IN THE HOME OF THE OWNER. Each of them have private entrances and bathrooms. Gîte Du Repos is located in two different houses on the same grounds. In the first house, on the second floor (outside staircase) there are three units: Unit (# 4 and # 5) with a King bed Unit (# 6) with a Queen bed The second floor has a kitchen that you share with two other rooms for breakfast. The refrigerator contains eggs, ham, bread, muffins, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, juice, milk, tea, coffee and cereals. The lunch is made by yourself at the time that suits you. In the second annex, the three units are at ground level, without stairs. Each of them with their private entrances. Unit (no.1) with a Queen bed Untié (no.2) with a King bed Unit (# 3) with two Queen beds Note: Unit # 1 and # 2 contains a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and all to make your breakfast in the room. While the room no.3 contains a complete kitchenette. New '' Gite de la Grande Ecole '' IS LOCATED AT 180 RUE CANADA in the city center of Saint Quentin. The whole is in a partimonial house The bedroom is separated from the kitchen and living room. A large king bed awaits you. A bathroom and separate shower room. Kitchenette with everything needed to make your breakfast at the time that suits you. Ideal for a couple with or without children.
