Our property stands out from many others here in the Yukon and Alaska for a few reasons. Our cabins are very well appointed From the beautiful setting to the quality linen to the most basic things such as sharp kitchen knives and a blender to mix beverages with. We take great pride in what we've been able to build and what we can offer our guests. Our property is 40 acres in a valley of 1,000's of acres. There's very little traffic and with hiking opportunities starting from the front door of your cabin. World-class mountain biking is 15 minutes away on Montana Mountain near Carcross. As well, numerous well-known hiking trails abound that will take you to breathtaking views within a short drive of 20 minutes or less. Additionally, in the fall of 2016 we went GREEN and installed a well for water as well as 3.71KW of solar panels on each cabin. When making your reservation note that Cabin #1 (bed upstairs, futon downstairs) is our pet-free, allergy-friendly cabin. Cabin #2 (bed & futon upstairs) can accommodate your four-legged friends for an additional charge.

Jamie and I offer the cabins for rent as a secondary income from our other work as founders of the Heart of Riverdale Community Centre, an arts-based centre that brings the community together through dance, music, and visual art. We have two adult children both working artists and community builders, we love the Yukon, and have been here for over 40 years.

Remote, rugged, beautiful, with lake, mountain, and glacier views all less than an hour from Whitehorse International Airport. There are very few people living in our valley. There are restaurants and a coffee shop a short drive away in Tagish and Carcross, just under 13km from the cabins. Whitehorse, Yukon; Atlin, BC; or Skagway and Haines, Alaska are all easy day trips from our front door.
