Property info

The resort is located on the east side of Doran Bay, a provincially significant fish sanctuary/wetland filled with migratory birds. The resort faces west directly into the St. Lawrence Seaway's Iroquois Lock/Dam, guests have a spectacular view of the large lakers and ocean going ships as they manoeuvre through the lock. Sunsets are amazing from our docks. Guests particularly enjoy watching the sunset from our docks then having a campfires against the backdrop of the ships sliding silently by, and the clear stars/heavens overhead. Doran Bay is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. Relax under a gazebo at our 20X40 in-ground pool. Turn the kids loose at our playground. There is excellent fishing off our docks. Try out our free canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Use your cottage as a 'home away from home' to visit the Thousand Islands, Ottawa and all the local attractions, including the Doran Bay Model Ship Museum - one of the finest private collections of model ships in Canada.
