Gabi and Tom offer their warm, welcoming hospitality to their guests and are known for their attention to the smallest details that help make a guest stay that much more enjoyable. Having worked in the hospitality industry in nearly every conceivable capacity, all the way from housekeeping to multi-unit regional management, Gabi brings her skills, education and experience into practice at Hadovka Lakeside Inn. Tom has worked in the broadcast industry for the better part of the past two decades and has evolved as a leader with the skills and desire, essential to ensuring their guests are treated with warmth and thoughtfulness throughout their stay. Together, Gabi and Tom bring a rare combination of education, skills and genuine care and attention to detail, in order to ensure their guests are extended every opportunity to feel welcome and pampered while staying in their home.

Property info

Built in 1832, Hadovka was originally one of the earliest hotels in the area. Each of the guest suites feature comfortable beds, a private bathroom as well as HD satellite TV and WIFI. Some of the guest suites also offer an optional additional sleeping area for accommodations of up to a total of four adults. Hadovka is not setup to accommodate young children or pets. Each of our guest suites are situated on the second floor and can only be accessed by the main staircase, which can be a challenge for those with mobility concerns. A hot gourmet breakfast, which varies from day to day, is served to our guests each morning in the dining room. The historic waterfront property stands proudly on Main Street, Wellington with extensive, well maintained grounds which include numerous outdoor seating areas, a waterfront deck with gazebo, as well as a fireplace. The vast assortment of wetland wildlife of West Lake can be experienced first hand from Hadovka’s docks, making for a most tranquil and relaxing respite from the city.

Hadovka is located on Wellington’s Main Street, just to the East of Beach Street and is a very short walk to Wellington’s public beach. It is also a short walk to the shops, restaurants and other attractions of Wellington. On Saturdays, the widely respected farmer’s market takes place, just steps away and features the work of a wide array of local artists and craftspersons as well as an assortment of artisanal foods. Located in the heart of Prince Edward County’s booming wine country, many visitors choose bicycles to tour the various wineries and art studios of the area. Hadovka is a 20 minute drive to Sandbanks provincial park and 10 kilometers to the nearby village of Bloomfield.
