We invite our guests to explore the 88 acre property of Le Temps Perdu. There is a map provided in the guest book leading to the various destinations on the property. The horses are 1.5 kilometers from Longview at the far side of the property...but you may catch a glimpse of them grazing close by in the warmer months. The trails and destination areas are marked and have place names posted to help you find your way around. Relax and enjoy the 88 acres of pristine nature. Horsetime, hiking, organic gardens, snowshoeing, nordic skiing and cozy evenings by the fire are all accessible on site. Free wifi enables a work from home environment.

With Tracey's Art history and professioanl theatre background in Montreal and Hermann's 30 year career as a professional equestrian in Germany, the 88 acres property is a charming and majical blend of both personalities. A love of nature is reflected in the untouched forests as well as the care and consideration of the placement of Longview. Situated on 88 acres, Le Temps Perdu allows for the rare experience of having such a large acreage to explore. Our unique guest chalet is a space like no other as it was specifically designed as a quiet, low impact holiday space for 2.Although we seek connections to the many exciting cultural events and our local community, our priority is to provide a peaceful experience while maintaining an harmonic life with the nature that surrounds us. This area of Ontario has a rich historical significance. Many museums and architectural points of interests are within a short distance. The number of artists and artisans within a 25 km radius is astounding and the quality of workmanship is very high. Most studios are open to the public by appointment and we would be happy to guide you to some extraordinary shopping destinations. We ask that guests please respect all of our creatures wild or tame and to leave any space as you found it. If you are travelling with a pet please let us know so we can prepare accordingly. We limit the space to one dog.
