Welcome to your year-round escape on prestigious Royal Muskoka Island — easily accessible by car and nestled on a spacious, sun-filled southwest-facing double lot. This inviting cottage combines modern comforts with the natural charm of Muskoka, offering plenty of space to unwind, explore, and make lasting memories. Spend lazy afternoons basking in the sun, or retreat beneath the canopy of mature trees with your favourite book in hand. With a flat lot and plenty of room to roam, it’s ideal for children, seniors, or anyone who prefers gentle strolls over steep hikes to the lake.
We are Earl and Linda, proud to welcome you to our cherished cottage. In 2018, it was completely reimagined and rebuilt, thoughtfully blending modern comforts with the timeless charm of a lakeside retreat. This special place has been woven into our lives for as long as we can remember, and it remains our sanctuary. Few things bring us greater joy than unwinding on the dock, watching the sun dip below the horizon as the water glows with its reflection—a truly unforgettable sight.
At the heart of the Island, you’ll find a beautiful 32-acre green space—perfect for a leisurely walk or a quick jog. The area includes a baseball backdrop, a basketball half-court, and a wide-open field ideal for a game of frisbee or a run with your dog. For a charming stroll, follow the loop around the Island. It’s about a mile in length and begins right outside our door—simply turn right and you’ll find yourself back at the cottage. Along the way, you’re likely to meet our welcoming neighbours, many of whom can be spotted out with their pets, plenty of deer (our friends down the road feed them), fox as well as a lot of differents birds.
