LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Welcome to the beautiful rugged West Coast. Home to Tall Tree Music Festival, and Song'nSurf. You will see eagles flying, and loads of humming birds. Just a 5 minute walk to beach and marina. We are at the end of the cul-de-sac and are the most private property surrounded by cedars on all sides. Our property is larger than most. The name, "A Shack In The Woods" was chosen for personal reasons. It is not a shack by any means and we are not totally secluded . A lovely cottage by the sea, built in 2011 with approx. 450 SF. The fire pit area has slate all around and is hidden by the cedars. Firewood is supplied at no charge. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities you will need to cook up that great catch of the day! Bbq on the deck that is enclosed, which makes it ideal for your child or pet. The bedroom has a queen size bed with 2" foam topper. You have patio doors to take in the lovely sun that shines all afternoon at the front of the cottage. Ideal for those who love to sunbathe! The couch in the living room is a top of the line queen hide a bed . Sheets and quilts are provided. The bathroom has a tub/shower. supplied with towels,shampoo cond, body wash & hair dryer.
I am a free spirited wife and mom of 3 adult children. I am also a mom to our 2 pups. I love music, adventure, travelling, fishing, and amature photography. I am an animal lover, through and through so my cottage is PET FRIENDLY
Great area for hiking, fishing, crabbing. exploring, swimming, kayaking etc.. Avatar Grove is close by and Botanical Beach is at the end of the roadway, approximately 10 minutes by car. There are three restaurants : Tomi's, The Coastal Kitchen and the Renfrew Pub. You will find a book inside, with all the information you may need. There are fishing charters at the marina that you can hire. There is a very good chance that you will see and hear Killer whales and humpback whales. A fantastic get away from the city. Cozy and romantic, yet ideal for a couple, or a couple with kids. **Please note: POWER OUTAGES: Port Renfrew and the south coast of Vancouver Island are subject to powerful windstorms that can cause extended power outages. The Guest is advised that "A Shack In The Woods" will not be liable and no partial or full refund of the rental price will be offered for power outages, however caused.
