Cottage Country extraordinary accommodation in the Haliburton Highlands Ontario. Sunny Rock B&B is the largest, oldest and only waterfront bed and breakfast. Sally and Jan have a memorable "what's it" game they invite guests to play each morning at breakfast. Enjoy year round sights and sounds of moving water from the bedroom suites. The decks are the perfect location to sit back in comfort, enjoy a complimentary beverage, read a good book while watching the nature unfold on the river. Harriot the Heron, Oscar the Ospre, Mert the Turt, Justin Beaver, and the Otter boys entertain our guests daily. A 15 minute drive to 5 cottage country golf courses and we will assist you with getting tee times. The Haliburton Highlands Sculpture Forest, the Highlands Movie Theatre, Highlands Summer Festival live theatre, and the Haliburton School of Arts and Design are all worth googling. The Haliburton Folk Society boasts of weekly year round concerts throughtout the Highlands. There is so much going on to explore in the Haliburton Highlands, however if you just want to put your feet up and enjoy the comforts and tranquility of the end of a country road existance you are invited to do so on your own or with 12 of your favorite people. Oh and we forgot to mention down hill skiimg, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, hiking festivals, biking, cushy canoe trips, lake boat tours etc. We have some of this equipment on hand or we know where to send you to get some. This lake land area and wilderness playground and cottage country environment is a dream location of all inpursuit of a fabulous event holiday 2 hours north of Toronto. Trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, ATVing. The arts boats of artist studios, The Haliburton School of the Arts and Design, Highlands Summer Festival live theatre production, Home Routes Concerts, live musical evenings, Winter Folk Camp. Everyday in the Haliburton Highlands there is something to do.
