In the spring and/or summer, take a 5-10 minute walk to Playland + PNE, the Hastings Horse Track, New Brighton Park + Pool or Empire Field.
A 1-minute drive and you're on the 2nd Narrows Bridge heading to North Vancouver; West Vancouver, Whistler, Ferry Terminal are also in this directions. Veering off to the right will take you to Burnaby, or Richmond and the Airport.
Stroll or rent a bike along Hastings, or two blocks up the street is the bus stop that will take you downtown in 20 minutes. Commercial Street is about a 10 minute drive, Kitsilano is 30 minutes.
Shop for grocery items and great produce at Donald's Market
Eat at Tacofino, Sushi Nanaimo, Fresh Slice, Thai Away Home, It's Ok and many more. The Broughton and Blind Rabbit to have a drink. Or the Roundel, Red Wagon, Yolks, Breka Bakery for breakfast/brunch.
