Built in 1915, this property is a historic Inn in Kensington, PEI. We offer a Victorian parlour, a large bright dining room, a lounge where you can just sit and relax and read a book or watch tv. For those who prefer to play games, we have several board games to choose from. The Inn offers a verandah where guests are able to sit and relax with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the fresh air. Kensington is centrally located and the perfect place to base yourself while exploring everything our beautiful island has to offer! Ten minutes from Summerside, The Home Place Inn is within walking distance of The Confederation Trail and The Haunted Mansion. Cavendish is a short 20 minute drive where you can visit Anne of Green Gables, The Village of Avonlea and beautiful beaches. Charlottetown is 40 minutes drive. You don't want to miss visiting the Parliament Building which is the Birthplace of Confederation, and since you are in the area, make sure to hop on down to the harbour and do a little shopping and have some delicious Cows ice cream!
