We are a big blended family of 9! Our children range in ages from 9-26! We have been blessed with 5 girls and 2 boys and 2 grand children. Only 5 of the kids still live at home and 3 work outside the inn but you will hopefully get to meet us all! Meeting our special people becomes some of our guests favorite part of their stay. We have been blessed to have guests return and watch our family grow as we in turn get to share in all of the changes with them since their last stay. Running the B&B truly is a family affair here. We all thoroughly enjoy greeting and welcoming guests into our home/business. It is our pleasure to help guests with all of their travel plans and answer any questions that might arise from your time here. This is our passion and what we love.

The Lookout Inn is situated on 2 acres. Guests are welcome to enjoy the property which has a 80' garden with ponds and seating. We also have a fire pit that can be used by request. The building is a 2 story, part century home & part new addition. There are 2 Queen & 2 King rooms on the upper floor as well as 2 King and 1 Queen on the main floor. Each room has a private bathroom and is individually decorated while maintaining a comfortable and modern feel. Numerous amenities are provided and we encourage requests if there is something that we or you have forgotten. Hot Breakfast is included with your rate & can be delivered to your room or enjoyed in the dining room. Each room has a view of the beautiful tidal Clyde River where guests often enjoy watching hawks and eagles feed along with the various birds. There is a deck off the upper level that all guests are welcome to utilize during their stay to relax and lounge, enjoy a meal or converse with your group or other guests. It is equipped with a pergola, sun chairs and a bbq. There is free parking available to all guests on the property adjacent to the Inn and our garage can be utilized on a first come first serve basis for parking of motorcycles and/or bicycles.

New Glasgow is a quaint close-knit community. There are three wonderful restaurants, The Mill, The Preserve Company and the famous New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. All 3 restaurants overlook the beautiful Clyde River and offer various choices to suit everyone's tastes! The Mill is open for dinner and provides a intimate spot for couples although children are welcome. The Preserve Company holds a restaurant but boasts a list of other services. Enjoy a meal, take a walk through the gardens, visit the butterfly house or make a stop and pick up some locally made jams. The New Glasgow Suppers has a reputation all to its own. Offering the famous all you can eat lobster dinner. We have guests that come specifically just to eat here! The Toy Factory is within walking distance and is such a charming toy store where you can discover your inner child! Dan and Kathy offer toys and gifts for all ages. Don't miss a round of golf at the challenging Glasgow Hills Golf Course which also overlooks the beautiful Clyde River.
