Located on over 12 acres, this Union Bay B & B features a waterfront location with views of Denman Island and the coastal mountains. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Buckley Bay ferry terminal is 2 minutes’ away. A cable TV with DVD player is featured in each comfortably furnished unit at Two Eagles Lodge. A seating area and a desk are included. Private bathrooms provide free toiletries. All rooms offer a private entrance. The Queen suite has a full kitchen and guests are welcome to use the BBQ. Ground-level King rooms have access to a kitchenette with a shared fridge, large toaster oven, and microwave, coffee and tea pots. Guests can inquire about a hot breakfast. BBQ facilities and a guest kitchenette are available at this Union Bay B & B. A shared lounge features a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows with water views. We love hearing guests say "WOW" when they arrive and see the view and well-maintained facility. Our 12-acre hobby farm has an incredible view of the coastal mountains, neighboring islands, and the water from every window. We love hosting special events, especially weddings, and encourage you to come and relax or explore til your heart is content. There is something for everyone, and we're happy to be such a centrally located "home base" for exploring all other areas of the island, too.
Steve and I are from the US, but fell in love with Vancouver Island in 2004 while traveling to Vancouver for business. We came back two more times in six months, bought 12 acres of forest, and the rest is history. We participated in an entrepreneurial immigration program and became citizens in August 2013. We are dual citizens and proud of it. We love people. We love where we live. And, we love sharing our home and the discoveries we've made on this amazing island with our guests. Meet our horse, our rescue dog (Cosmo), and come make new friends. We look forward to meeting you!
The Comox Valley is a well-kept secret with plenty to do for everyone. Check out Experience Comox Valley's website, but then be sure to tell us what you enjoy and we'll happily make recommendations for you. Whether you like museums and artisans or hiking and mountain biking, we know where to tell you to go and are happy to do so. We have water and mountains everywhere, so no drive is unpleasant, and even trips to Walmart or the local boutiques are pretty jaunts.
