Mark and Lauralee started their business dreams in 2012 when they purchased their 6-acre property. Working towards self-sustainability while lowering their carbon footprint they have used locally sourced lumber and repurposed materials to build their homestead which has become an asset to their newly established Bed and Breakfast FarmStay (2020).

At Upper Humber Settlement, we believe in providing wholesome experiences that connect people with nature and each other. Our Bed and Breakfast FarmStay provides a unique opportunity to get back to basics and learn about self-sustainability. Located in the historic Farming community of Cormack, we have used locally sourced lumber and repurposed materials to build our homestead, which has become an asset to our newly established business. We provide a variety of experiences that you can add on with your stays such as Farm to table dinners, indigenous medicine wheel and fire circle experience and much more! This property is nestled in the forest and features 4 separate rooms. 2 which have their own on-suite and 2 rooms have a shared bathroom.
