Acoustic ceiling tiles with soundproof, fireproof, insulation above them provide you with peace & quiet. Infrared heating panels with a dedicated thermostat ensure your comfort. I clean this space myself & my guest's reviews are testament to my cleanliness. What you also need to know is that I clean with Norwex products, so no harmful chemicals are used here. Your health is my main concern. There is the reverse osmosis water treatment unit & a Sanuvox UV unit on the furnace that removes allergens, viruses and bacteria from the air. Soft sherpa throws in the living room to cuddle up in while you watch shows in your Netflix / Amazon Prime / or other streaming apps on the 55" LCD Smart TV (Roku TV is free). The stunning electric fireplace entertainment unit will give you extra warmth and/or a nice ambiance. Sit in the comfortable leather barrel chair, stretch out on the leather Chaise Lounge or cuddle up on the sofa to unwind. Fibre Optic 1GB WIFI is included. When it comes to the kitchen I have spared no expense to outfit it with everything you may need. Loads of small appliances, utensils, spices, oils & condiments. I love hosting travellers to Edmonton. In the past I have hosted Home Stay students from various parts of the world. Meeting travellers from across the globe is so rewarding too! I have lived in Edmonton for most of my adult life and know the city quite well. If you want dining suggestions or shopping suggestions I can definitely help with that. I have been in this house for over 30 years and love this area. I am available to help you find places you want to get to as well as to show you how to get there. My goal is to make sure I do my part to make your trip enjoyable and to ensure you are comfortable.

Our neighbourhood is called Forest Heights and is directly east of the downtown core. We are very close to Capilano Mall as well as Bonnie Doon mall. The Ice District and the Edmonton Expo Centre are right across the river (5 minutes). The UofA is very convenient to get to from here as well. We are close to the river trails for those who like to explore nature and get some fresh air and there are many golf courses close by too. Getting around Edmonton is very easy and if you are renting a car you are literally 25 minutes from anything. There is a bus stop at the top of our street that will get you downtown. Uber is available as are cabs of course. There is street parking if you have your own car and Edmonton is pretty easy to drive in.
