Kandersteg is located at the end of the Kander Valley in the midst of the fantastic mountain world of the extended UNESCO World Heritage Region Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. Wonderful hiking trails (including to Lake Oeschinen and along the Kander) as well as cross-country skiing trails start within a short walking distance from the holiday flat. A bus stop is located about 200 m away.
