Reconnect with nature in the calm crystal air ! This apartment is just on the edge of the village, so you can see what's happening but easily step into the solitude of the mountains. As soon as you can escape from the city, come to tranquility you can feel at home in :-) Just to let you know, this summer there is some maintenance work planned for Anzère Village Square, so at times some areas may be dug up and re-laid. Everything - restaurants and Wellness Spa etc. - should still be open and accessible, but the centre of the Village could look untidy. Of course, the mountains and the paths through the woods will remain as beautiful and calm as ever, and the magnetic attraction of the Valais is still as strong. To compensate you, we have reduced our prices by more than 20% during this summer, so make the most of this wonderful opportunity to experience the Alpine flowers and stunning views!
Hello, my name is Richard; I own the apartment. I live in England but I visit Anzère as often as I can - usually to attend to the maintenance and keep things in good order, but I also love being in the mountains! Whether you come for the skiing, or like more of us these days you enjoy walking in the summer, I hope you'll have a wonderful time in this perfect place.
At the back of the apartment building is a gentle flowery slope up to the bisse - the historic channel which used to bring water from the reservoir to the village. It has now become the centre-piece of a network of beautiful walks around the mountain, gentle ones to the grassy ski slopes, or more challenging hikes to the cabin des Audannes much nearer to the peaks. The mountains have charm and calm to offer for all seasons!
