The Bijou is located on the first floor of the charming Chalet Spatz and combines alpine character with modern comfort. The main entrance is at the back of the house and can be reached via an exterior staircase. A special highlight is the sauna in a separate small chalet next to the house, shared with other guests – perfect for relaxing after an active day in the mountains. The living room welcomes you with modern furnishings and natural chalet elements. A comfortable sofa invites you to unwind, while large windows provide plenty of daylight and open views of the surrounding nature. The gallery offers a cozy retreat for reading or listening to audiobooks (not suitable as a sleeping area). The new, modern kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, and Quooker. The dining table seats up to four people – ideal for shared meals or a relaxed game evening. The bedrooms offer a calm and comfortable atmosphere with high-quality bed linen. Master bedroom: double bed (180×200). Small bedroom: bunk bed with two single beds (90×190). The second bedroom is automatically available for bookings of three or more guests; for two guests, it is available on request. Would you like to combine work and mountain views? The small bedroom is equipped with a docking station and two monitors, allowing you to set up your workspace in seconds – simply connect your laptop and enjoy working with a view of nature. The small bathroom features a rain shower – perfect for refreshing after a day of exploring. The balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh alpine air and the beautiful views of Kandersteg’s mountain scenery. One parking space is available directly in front of the apartment. Another holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of Chalet Spatz and is rented separately.

In winter, Kandersteg becomes a cross-country skiing paradise, with well-maintained trails and a small, family-friendly ski area. For food lovers, we recommend Landgasthof Ruedihus for traditional Swiss cuisine or the cozy Restaurant Des Alpes in the village center.
